Using Kisa

By accessing the Kisa website or using the Kisa desktop app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. These Terms do not replace or limit the rights granted to you by Kisa's open-source license.

Open-source license

Kisa's software and source code are provided under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of the software, subject to the license's notice requirements. If these Terms conflict with the MIT License regarding the software or source code, the MIT License controls.

Your mail and Google account

You retain all rights you have in your mail and other content. Kisa connects to the Google account you authorize and acts only at your direction. You are responsible for your Google account, the content you access or send, and compliance with Google's terms and policies.

Hosted infrastructure

Kisa does not provide a hosted mailbox or user-account service. The website and a small OAuth handoff are hosted to present Kisa and complete Google sign-in. You may not probe, attack, disrupt, bypass security controls for, or gain unauthorized access to that infrastructure.

Availability and changes

Kisa is under active development. Features, integrations, and supported platforms may change, break, or be removed, and the project or its hosted infrastructure may be paused or discontinued without notice. Kisa also depends on Google and other third-party services that may change independently.

Fees

Kisa is currently offered without a Kisa subscription fee. You remain responsible for charges from Google, your internet provider, app stores, or other third parties.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how Kisa handles information when you use the app and website. Google and other third parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

To the extent permitted by law, Kisa's authors and copyright holders are not liable for claims, damages, or other liability arising from the software or its use. The full MIT License controls if this summary differs from it.

Stopping use

You may stop using Kisa at any time by uninstalling it. You can disconnect an account in Kisa or revoke Kisa's access from your Google account settings.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as Kisa changes. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Changes apply from that date; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
